Major Midget Cobras blank Grads, take over first |
| Francis Legault lifts a backhand shot past Cumberland goalie Alexis Lamontagne in first period action against the Grads on February 3, 2009. It was all the Cobras needed as goaltender Mathieu Marchand was perfect at the other end of the rink, earning a shutout in a 3-0 win over Cumberland. Maxime Beland and Mathieu Lemieux added third periods goals, and Joel Adam chipped in two assists. The win moved the Cobras into first place, one point ahead of Kanata, with a week left in the regular season. |

Mathieu Marchand, le gardien des Cobras midget majeur, a reçu plus de 60 lancers, mais a aloué seulement 2 buts au tournoi Kiwanis à Gatineau le 9 janvier.
