Former Cobra Francis Wathier, signed to a professional contract with the NHL's Dallas Stars, has set up a Midget Spring Training Session specially designed for players who are seeking to take the next step to Junior A hockey.

The two-month program, which gets underway on May 19th, includes dry-land and on-ice training.
The ten dryland sessions will cover plyometric training with a focus on foot speed, leg strength, endurance, coordination, upper and lower body power, explosive strength and more.
The program includes seven on-ice practices. Francis will cover a variety of skills including puck skills, puck decisions, shooting, passing, 1 on 1's, 2 on 2's and 3 on 3 drills, defensive positioning and offensive awareness.
The program is designed specifically for players looking to move on to Midget AA, AAA, Junior or collegiate programs.
