They handled the Québec Centre Rams easily in the semi finals, skating away with a 6-1 victory.n the finals they were matched up against another undefeated team, L'Xtrème de Grand-Mère . The game started off with some exciting end to end action. The Cobras opened the scoring in the first period, and goaltender Sébastien Lanthier added to the excitement by stopping a breakaway. L'Xtrème didn't give up, tying the game in the second period, setting the stage for an exciting third. With just under five minutes to go, Kyle Montgomery picked up a loose puck at centre ice and skated in alone, managing to get off a shot just as he was being tripped up for the game winner. The Cobras iced the game with a shorthanded empty net goal to win 3-1. The tournament also saw Philippe Burden was chosen as the best defenceman of the tournament and Liam Stagg was named player of the tournament for the Cobras.
All said the weekend was a great success and with memories that will last a long time. Great job boys!!
